As I explain in the article, my journey into coaching was fueled by my background in clinical psychology and law, combined with a 28-year corporate career, which drove my interest in understanding human motivation and helping individuals succeed. Coaching validated my beliefs in attitude and goal-setting, making me a more empathetic listener. I integrated coaching into my daily life, dedicating time to coursework and practice. The most rewarding aspect has been witnessing my pro-bono clients' successes. My coaching niche is enhancing executive presence, and I'm particularly passionate about working with mid to senior-level managers and clients in DE & I and career returners. I'm also intrigued by the field of neuroplasticity and neuroscience in coaching. My advice to aspiring coaches is to choose coaching if you want to empower people to become better versions of themselves and help them achieve their goals through productive organization.
